Havana, Cuba, Apr 3 (acn) Cuban President Raul Castro congratulated on Monday in Havana Ecuador's President Elect Lenin Moreno Garces after winning the second round of the elections on Sunday.
\ "I congratulate you for the electoral victory that will begin a new stage of the Revolucion Ciudadana (Citizens Revolution) and will continue the commitment of that sister nation with the unity and defense of the sovereignty of Our America\", said Raul in his message.
He also pointed out that Cuba will accompany Ecuador with the always friendship and solidarity.
