ARTEMISA, Cuba, Jul 4 (acn) The 46th contingent of the Jose Marti European Brigade, a group that has close ties of solidarity with Cuba, will arrive on Monday to the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp of Caimito, Artemisa province.
The Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) told ACN that the group is composed of 105 brigade members from 16 countries, including Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden and Russia, and that the program includes a visit to the Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara Memorial in Santa Clara.
In Artemisa, they will hold exchanges with children, youth and workers of the El Guayabal community and will carry out production activities to boost agriculture, the main economic line of the territory.
They also plan to meet with Cuban physicians who fought the Ebola virus in African countries, and will participate in lectures on the process of normalization of the U.S.-Cuba relations.
