Cuban First Vice-President wraps up official visit to RussiaHAVANA, Cuba, May 30 (acn) Cuban First Vice-President Miguel Diaz-Canel wrapped up this Monday his five-day long official visit to Russia, according to Prensa Latina news agency.

The Cuban leader visited in his last day the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, where a group of Cuban students are being trained.
The institution reported some time ago that will increase its quota of scholarships for Cubans and its rector Margarita Ruisetskaya announced they will open a Russian language cathedra at the University of Havana.
After this visit to the higher studies institution Diaz-Canel will have a working meeting with the Cuban embassy staff in Moscow.
He arrived in Russia from Belarus last May 25 heading a delegation that included Deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra, and Cuban Ambassador to Russia Emilio Lozada.
The goal of this visit was to assess the current state of the political, economic and trade relations between Cuba and Russia, the VP said.
He added he reviewed several important joint projects with Russian authorities, which were the result of proposals made by both parties, especially after the visit to Cuba of President Vladimir Putin.
We have very interesting projects in the energy, industrial and economical and financial spheres, he explained.
During his visit, he held meetings with Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and other high ranking officials of the Russian State and Government
