Cuban President Appreciates Argentinean Solidarity with Cuba

Havana, Jan 24 (ACN) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel appreciated the gestures of solidarity with Cuba during a meeting with members of different political and social organizations in Argentina.

On his Twitter account, Diaz-Canel described as moving and encouraging the meeting he held in Buenos Aires in which he conveyed greetings on behalf of the Cuban people.

He said that Cubans will never forget the support given by Argentina to Cuba in the struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic; he also thanked Argentineans for permanently backing Cuba against the US economic blockade and subversive aggression.

The head of state affirmed that Cubans will keep advancing their unity and creative resistance towards a socialist, prosperous, independent, supportive nation of social justice.

The Cuban President traveled to Buenos Aires on Sunday to participate at the 7th Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States--CELAC.
