Cuba Denounces Complicity between the US Government and Internet Platforms

Havana, Dec 28 (ACN) The revelations of Twitter Files prove the complicity between Internet platforms and the US administration, said Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel.

On his Twitter account, the Cuban head of state wrote that the archives leaked to journalists reveal the subordination to psychological warfare of which Cuba and other nations are targets in violation of their legislations.

Diaz-Canel linked his Twitter message to a denunciation made by Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez about the direct influence by US intelligence agencies, the Pentagon, the US State Department and the Federal Buro of Investigations in censorship of Cuban users of social media.

Rodriguez said that he documents leaked to journalists by the executive board of Twitter show the direct participation of the US government agencies in psychological warfare.

The Cuban Foreign Minister reiterated the denunciation made on November 3rd by the UN General Assembly about actions by Twitter and Meta (Facebook) to censor Cuban users and public media.
