Russian Senate Marks Cuban Revolution Anniversary

Havana, Dec 23 (ACN) The president of Russia’s Senate Valentina Matvienko congratulated the Cuban people for the upcoming year of the Cuban Revolution during a phone talk with the president of the Cuban Parliament Esteban Lazo.

During the phone talk, Matvienko and Lazo checked the pace of accords signed during the most recent visit by the Cuban Parliament president to Russia.

They also agreed to the need to consolidate inter-parliamentary links to contribute to the development of relations between Moscow and Havana.
