HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 12 (ACN) The Institute of Meteorology reports today in its Tropical Cyclone Advisory No. 2 that at six o'clock this morning the center of the storm Karl was about 260 kilometers east of Tuxpan, Mexico.
Karl has changed little in organization and intensity, with maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h and a minimum central pressure of 1006 hectopascal as it moves north-northwest at 9 km/h.
Over the next 12 to 24 hours, Karl is expected to maintain a similar direction and speed, tilting west to west-southwest on Wednesday night as it slightly strengthens.
The next tropical storm watch will be issued today at 6 p.m.
