World community continues its support to Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 20 (ACN) Nacion y Emigracion( Nation and Emigration) reported on Twitter that 1,500 kilograms of sanitary material were sent to Cuba from Almeria, Spain, to support the island's response to the pandemic.

The initiative was supported by the Andalusian Coordinating Committee of Solidarity with Cuba and the State Movement of Solidarity with the Caribbean island.

Similarly, the Provincial Health Directorate of Matanzas(western region) announced on Twitter that a shipment of medicines for the hospital in Cardenas(municipality in Matanzas), prepared by Cubans living in that northern country, arrived from Calgary, Canada.

According to the information, the donation was prepared in just one week and includes supplies, analgesics, syringes and other materials necessary for the fight against COVID-19.
