HAVANA, Dec 10 (ACN) Miguel Diaz-Canel, President of Cuba, and his accompanying delegation attended today the swearing-in of Argentina's President-elect Alberto Fernandez and Vice President Cristina Fernandez.
"At the start of a new era of democracy and hope, Argentina welcomes its new president. Cuba is present on this historic day for the Great Homeland", the Cuban president posted on Twitter.
Diaz-Canel and Cuba join Alberto Fernandez in this ceremony, "the brother people and government of Argentina have all our support," Cuban FM Bruno Rodriguez tweeted.
The visit of the Cuban delegation to the ceremony has been received with affection by the numerous friends of solidarity and by businessmen, intellectuals and artists with whom the Cuban President met.
