Cubans in Vietnam pay tribute to Fidel CastroHAVANA, Nov 25 (ACN) Different activities were carried out by Cuban diplomats, collaborators and students in Vietnam to pay tribute to Fidel Castro on the third anniversary of his death.

With songs, poems and narratives, Cubans and former Vietnamese diplomats to Cuba remembered moments of his life, Prensa Latina reported.
Representatives of the Vietnam Friendship Organizations, the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, and the Duong Truong Son Veterans Association (Ho Chi Minh Route) were among the attendees, who carried wreaths to show their admiration and respect for the Cuban revolutionary.
Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam, Lianys Torres, affirmed that Fidel remains a vital presence and combatant in these lands, so dear to him and to which his name will always be linked.
For their part, Vietnamese evoked two unforgettable moments tied to Fidel Castro's life, one of them, when in the middle of the war he said "for Vietnam we are willing to give even our own blood" and the other, when in 1973 he became the first and only president to visit the recently liberated areas of the southern region of that Asian country.
