HAVANA, Nov 19 (ACN) Cuba and China agreed to renew the current MOU on Training and to continue with the exchange of experiences and improvement courses, a statement from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlights today.
The head of the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba, Nelson Enrique Cordoves Reyes, was received by the Vice Minister of the General Customs Administration of China, Hu Wei, to whom he expressed how, through this Memorandum, the training of numerous Cuban officials has been achieved, which has led to greater unity in the work of the two customs offices.
For his part, Wei pointed out that Chinese Customs has also benefited from the Cuban experience, and proposed to continue the cooperation between both countries for the 2021-2024 period.
At the same time, the Director General of Political Planning of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Marcos Rodriguez Costa, held an extensive program of political consultations with his Russian counterparts.
Rodriguez Costa visited the Academy of Public Administration annexed to the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he confirmed the high level of political dialogue and agreement on issues of mutual interest in the international arena.

Meanwhile, the Cuban Embassy to Germany and the Berlin Ballet School hosted a touching gala to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the founding of the Villa de San Cristobal in Havana, at the educational center.
The event, opened by Ambassador Ramon Ripoll and the director for European and International Affairs of the Senate of Berlin for Education, Youth and Family, Grit Orgis, had the excellent performances of the Cuban singer Disnay Lopez, the virtuosity of the Duo Cello Capriccioso and the sensitive presentations of ballet students.
As well, this Monday the Museum of Black Civilizations of Dakar hosted the official launching ceremony of the 14th edition of the Biennial of Contemporary African Art.
