Cuban Gracial homers twice, bats in 5 in Japan

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 5 (acn) Cuban Yurisbel Gracial was again the offensive leader of the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks on their 6-3 win over the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, in the Japanese Professional Baseball League (NPB).

Batting fifth and defending the left-field, Gracial batted 3 for 4, including two homers and 5 RBIs.
Thus, the Cuban outstanding player has now offensive line (AVG, SLG, OBP) of (.341, .663, .393), with 19 homers and 46 RBIs in 56 games.
The also Cuban DH and clean-up hitter Alfredo Despaigne hit 0 for 3 with one walk in this game and now has average of .259, with 18 homeruns and 47 RBIs.
Lefty setup pitcher and utility Oscar Colas, the latter was recently ascended to the first squad, also play for the Hawks, who appear on top of the standings of the NPB Pacific League with 44 wins, 30 losses and 4 ties, 5 games ahead of the Eagles and 5.5 over the Saitama Seibu Lions.
