HAVANA, Cuba, May 23 (acn) The Cuban National Soccer Commission announced a 28-player list in the face of the participation in the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Five players will be ruled out from the group as only 23 of them will be able to attend the tournament scheduled from June 15 to July 7 in 15 cities of the United States, one from Costa Rica and other one from Jamaica.
The team will again be coached by Raul Mederos and his assistant coach will be Leonardo Herrera, three-time national champion with the squad of Santiago de Cuba.
Cuba was included in Group A along with Mexico, its rival on the June 15th at the Rose Bowl of Pasadena; in addition to Martinique June 19th at the Broncos Stadium and Mile High, in Denver; and Canada on June 23rd at the Bank of America Stadium, in Charlotte; all in United States.

Goalkeepers: Sandy Sanchez, Nelson Johnston, Elier Pozo and Diosvelis Guerra.
Defenders: Yosel Piedra, Dariel Morejon, Rolando Abreu, Lionis Martinez, Karel Espino, Marlon Sanchez and Yonaidis Garcia.
Midfielders: Yordan Santa Cruz, Andy Baquero, Aricheell Hernandez, Daniel Ruiz Saez, Reynaldo Perez, Erick Rizo, Yasmani Lopez, Alejandro Portal, Anibal Alvarez, Jean Carlos Rodriguez, Jorge Kindelan, Luismel Morris and Roberney Caballero.
Forwards: Luis Paradella, Maykel Reyes, Allan Alvaro Perez and Juan Andreus,
Santa Cruz, Baquero, Ruiz Saez, Rey Perez, Hernandez, Piedra, Paradella and goalie Sanchez play in the professional leagues of the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and Panama, while the rest still plays domestically.
