Cubans win bronze in World Rowing CupHAVANA, Cuba, May 13 (acn) Cubans Aimee Hernandez and Yariulvis Cobas won the bronze medal in the women´s double scull (W2x) event of the World Rowing Cup I, based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Hernandez and Cobas covered the 2.000 meters in 7: 21.990 minutes, behind Chinese Shiyu Lu and Yuwei Wang (7: 14.460) and Belarusian Tatsiana and Staraselets (7: 17.990), in that order.
The other Cuban boat, made up by Carlos Ajete and Jesus Rodriguez (6: 59.930) finished sixth, in the men´s coxless pair (M2-) event, which was won by Serbs Martin Mackovic and Milos Vasic (6: 34.050).
The silver and bronze medals went to Croat twins Martin and Valent Sinkovic (6: 36.050) and Spaniards Jaime Canalejo and Javier Garcia (6: 37.500), respectively.
