Eight Cuban shooters to attend ISSF World Cup

HAVANA, Cuba, May 9 (acn) Cuba will be represented by eight shooters in the 2019 ISSF World Cup to run in Munich, Germany, from May 24 - 31.

There are highlight in the Cuban squad to Leuris Pupo, London 2012 Olympic champion, and Jorge Felix Alvarez, bronze medalist in the previous edition of this contest, both in the men´s 25m rapid fire pistol event.
Women Eglys de la Cruz and Dianelys Perez and man Alexander Molerio (rifle) will also attend this tournament, along with pistol specialists Jorge Grau and Guillermo Pias and woman Laina Perez.
These eight Cuban athletes plus ten others, including skeet specialists Guillermo Torres and Juan Rodriguez, already qualified to Lima 2019 Pan-Am Games, to be held in the Peruvian capital from July 26 to August 11.
After the World Cup in Munich and before the continental competition in Lima, Cubans will attend the Ibero-American Championship, scheduled for Santiago de Chile from June 30 to July 11.
