Cuba to open Serie del Caribe against Mexican Jalisco Charros

HAVANA, Cuba, Jan 31 (acn) The Cuban team Las Tunas Leñadores will debut against the Jalisco Charros, from Mexico, in the second day of the 2019 Caribbean Baseball Series that begins next February 4th in Panama City.

The calendar announced by the organizers specifies that the squad managed by Pablo Civil will face on the third day the Venezuelan side of the Lara Cardenales, remaining member of group A.
The Cubans will face the Mexicans again on February 7th and the Venezuelans on the 9th to conclude the preliminary stage that will assign the finalist status to the leader of each group.
The owners of that condition will clash each other on Sunday, February 10.
The Pool B is made up by the Santurce Cangrejeros from Puerto Rico, Estrellas Orientales from the Dominican Republic and the local side of the Herrera Toros.
