Viet Nam and Cuba to strengthen bonds in sports fieldHAVANA, Cuba, Oct 24 (acn) Voung Bich Thang, head of the Vietnam Sports Administration, was categorical in his statements: I come to Cuba in search of boxing, women's volleyball and high jump coaches.

Thang is in Cuba as one of the personalities attending the International Congress Cubamotricidad 2018 taking place at the Havana´s Conventions Palace.
The Vietnamese executive held a working meeting with PhD. Antonio Becali, president of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER by its Spanish acronym), to whom he expressed his interest in hiring trainers in the aforementioned sports.
Our athletes will participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and that is why we want to achieve a good preparation in search of tickets in these three sports, he told ACN.
He also expressed the interest of his country for the support of Cuba in the scientific-technical sector.
This field is a weakness in Vietnam, both of human capital, equipment and research capabilities, and in Cuba you have reached a huge development in this sector, because if not, you would not have those enormous results at world level in sport, Thang noted.
Meanwhile, Becali stated that the primary goal is to realize that dream that Cuba and Vietnam to strengthen even more the ties in the sports field and thinks there won't be any problem for the Cuban coaches to provide their services in the Asian nation.
By 2019 we want several Cuban teams to go to Vietnam to train ahead of Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the INDER president added.
