Holguin Province with 25 Athletes to the Central American GamesHOLGUIN, Cuba, Jun 26 (ACN) The province of Holguin will be represented at the 23rd Central American and Caribbean Games to be held in Barranquilla, Colombia with 25 athletes among them Olympic medalists, Leuris Pupo in sports shooting and Leonel Suarez in decathlon.

In addition to Pan American Weightlifting Champ Victor Quinones in the 94 kilo division.

Other names from Holguin are Beach volleyball, Sergio Gonzalez who is part of the Cuban pair that finished fourth at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and rower, which has already qualified for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Alexei Carballosa.
