Cuban Sierra ranked Second in American Major Race

HAVANA, Cuba, May 29 (acn) Cuban Arlenis Sierra finished second in the 6th Winston-Salem Cycling Classic, last race in her raid for the United States.

Defending the colors of the Astana Women's Team, the outstanding athlete was only surpassed by American Samantha Schneider (Iscorp Pro Cycling Team), who scored time of 59 minutes and 52 seconds.
According to the site cyclingnews.com, Sierra was followed by local Erica Allar (Rally Cycling), Australian Lauretta Hanson (United Healthcare), American Tina Pic (Colavita / Bialetti Pro Cycling Team) and the also host Laura Jorgensen (Feed Hungry Kids Project).
"It was another strong race that is part of my training ahead of Barranquilla 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games, where I hope having a good performance," Sierra told JIT sports publication.
Previously, but also on American soil, the Cuban rider attended the Tour of California, the 3-stage race and 11th event of the 2018 UCI Women's World Tour, where she won the last stage.
