Six Cubans are hired to play in the Canadian Professional BaseballHAVANA, Cuba, Apr 26 (acn) Six Cuban players signed contracts to play in two professional baseball teams in Canada.

Infielder Yordan Manduley and right-hander pitcher Lazaro Blanco will join the ranks of the Quebec Capitales, squad that belongs to the Canadian-American (Can-Am) Baseball League.
This will be Manduley´s four consecutive season with the Capitales, while Blanco will defend this side for second year in a row.
Last season, they both won the crown of the Can-Am along with the also Cuban IF Yurisbel Gracial, who now plays for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks, in the Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB).
In addition, RHPs Noelvis Entenza (Industriales), Miguel Lahera (Artemisa) and Yonder Martínez (Matanzas), as well as SS Yorbis Borroto (Ciego de Avila) were hired by the Kitchener Panthers, team of the Intercounty Baseball League (IBL), a Canadian independent league.
IBL only allows four foreign players per club, and on this occasion our quartet will be made up only by Cubans, Mike Boehmer, Kitchener Panthers Baseball Executive, told ACN.
Entenza will be for the third time in the IBL, while Lahera will be in his second season and Martinez, 39, will make his debut in the Canadian professional baseball.
