Cuba ranked second in the Lima Judo Open

HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 19 (acn) Cuba ranked second in the Pan-American Judo Open, in Lima, Peru, with three gold, one silver and three bronze medals, only surpassed by Brazil (4-2-6).
Cuba´s title winners were the women Olga Masferrer (70 kilos) and Maylin del Toro (63), and the man Osniel Solis (66), while the runner-up was the also woman Virgen Romero (78).

According to the official website of the tournament, the Cuban bronze medalists were the boys Yandry Torres (60) and Magdiel Estrada (73) and the girl Yurisleidis Hernandez (52).
Brazil (4-2-6) and Cuba (3-1-3) headed the standings and were followed by France (2-3-1), USA (1-4-2), Peru (1-1-4), Ecuador (1-1-3), Dominican Republic (1-0-3) and Argentina (1-0-1).
