Cuba loses fourth game in qualifiers to Men´s Basketball World CupHAVANA, Cuba, Feb 27 (acn) Cuba lost to Mexico, thus achieving its fourth consecutive loss in the Americas qualifiers for the FIBA 2019 Men´s Basketball World Cup.

At Havana´s Sports City Coliseum, Mexicans won 75-52 (26-12, 9-16, 15-9 and 25-15), according to the website of JIT sports publication.
PG Paul Stoll, with 23 points, and F Juan Toscano (18) highlighted for the visitors, while PF Jasiel Rivero, who scored 18 units, shone for the locals along with P Javier Justiz (9) with 14 rebounds.
Included in group C of the Americas qualifiers, the Cuban team now has balance of four losses and no win, so it has few but few options to finish among the best three seats, sides which would advance to the second round.
In the other game of this Poole, USA beat 83-75 Puerto Rico and now the group is led by United States (4-0), followed by Puerto Rico (2-2), Mexico (2-2) and Cuba (0-4).
