Las Tunas keeps its amazing pace in Cuban baseballHAVANA, Cuba, Dec 15 (acn) Las Tunas, already qualified to postseason, seems ready to finish in style, and yesterday defeated at home 4-1 Artemisa in the second stage of the 57th Cuban National Baseball Series (SNB by its Spanish acronym).

The leader of the standings counted on an excellent pitching performance by Yariel Rodriguez, who reached his ninth win of the season, in addition to the fifteenth homer of 1B Rafael Viñales, who batted 2 for 4 with an RBI, leader of the contest with 69.
The runner-up, Matanzas, did not miss the steps of the leader and beat away 2-1 Pinar del Rio, supported by a pitching jewel by Alexander Hernandez, who in eight innings barely allowed two hits, one of them was the 1,999th of 3B Michel Enriquez in SNB.
Meanwhile, honors were even in the double-header held by Industriales and the defending monarch of Granma.
The team from Havana won the first game 14-6 mainly supported in a 15 hits offensive, which included homers by 3B Wilfredo Aroche and DH Yordanis Samon.
