Cuba lost 75 percent of games in Can-Am baseball league

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 29 (acn) Cuba lost 12-1 to the Rockland Boulders in its penultimate game in the Can-Am Independent Baseball League.

Despite relievers Frank Medina, Jose Rodriguez and Dayron Duran starred a disastrous performance when surrendering altogether 9 runs, lefty Ulfrido Garcia, Cuban starting pitcher, took the loss after allowing 2 runs and 4 hits in five innings and two thirds.
Cuba´s only run was driven in by Yosvani Alarcon, best batter of the tournament so far.
Now the Caribbean side has balance of 5 wins and 15 losses and today they will play their final match in the contest against the same opponent.
