Cuba to face Iran in Men´s U21 World Volleyball Championship

HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 27 (acn) Cuba will face Iran today in the first game of the second round (Group E) of the 19th edition of the Men´s U21 World Volleyball Championship in the city of Brno, Czech Republic.
China and Poland, on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, will be Cuba´s next rivals in its attempt to reach semifinals.

That same purpose is shared by Argentina, Brazil, Canada and Russia, members of Poole F, according to the website of the contest.
Meanwhile, the Czech Republic, Italy, United States and Egypt (Group G), and Turkey, Japan, Morocco and Ukraine (H) will fight for the seats from ninth to twelfth.
In the first round, Poland led Poole A, followed by Canada, Czech Republic and Morocco, while Russia ranked first in Group B, escorted by Cuba, Turkey and the United States.
Iran topped Poole C, ahead of Argentina, Italy and Ukraine, while Brazil led Group D, followed by China, Japan and Egypt.
