HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 13 (acn) Long jumper Maikel Masso, Poland 2016 world youth champion, and sprinter Roberto Skyers, Guadalajara 2011 Pan-American winner of the men´s 200 meters, will represent Cuba today in the athletic meeting based in Turku, Finland.
Also today, three other Cubans led by short-hurdler Dayron Robles, Beijing 2008 Olympic champion, will compete in Huelva, Spain.
Robles, Qatar 2010 world indoor monarch, hasn´t still got his ticket to attend the World Championships in London, England, from next August 4 to 13, so he needs to improve his records.
The other two Cuban representatives on Spanish soil will be the women Liadagmis Povea, triple jump, and Rose Mary Almanza (800 meters),
Povea ranked sixth in the fourth stop of the Diamond League with stage in Rome, Italy, last June 8th.
In the case of Almanza, she will return to the track after winning the Baie Mahault meeting in Guadeloupe last May with time of 2: 00.26 minutes.
