Pinar del Rio takes the lead in Cuban basketball finals

MATANZAS, Cuba, Apr 6 (acn) Pinar del Rio beat away 75-62 Matanzas in the third match of the grand final of the Cuban Basketball Superior League (LSB by its Spanish acronym).

Pinar del Rio, despite being the underdogs in this final playoff, now has a good chance to win it, since the last games will be at home.
Yosiel Monterrey was the leading scorer of the match with 23 points.
Thus, Pinar del Rio takes the lead 2-1 in the final to the best of seven after achieving an important win as visitors after having tied 1-1 in their two home matches.
The fourth game of the title discussion of Cuban men´s basketball will take place today also in Matanzas province.
