Pinar del Rio ties the Final of the Cuban Men´s Basketball League

PINAR DEL RIO, Cuba, Apr 3 (acn) Pinar del Rio tied 1-1 with Matanzas when beating them in the second game of the final of the Cuban men´s Superior Basketball League (LSB by its Spanish acronym) as local at the November 19th multipurpose room.

The local side won 70-68 (22-9, 19-15, 26- 20 and 14- 13) in a very hard-fought match.
The leading scorers of the match were pivot Eliecer Quintana (Pinar del Rio) and guard Danny Torriente (Matanzas), both with 20 points.
Matanzas won the first game of the series (66-63) last Saturday in overtime.
The final now travels to Matanzas where both squads will play on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, and if necessary they will return to Pinar del Rio in search of the 2017 LSB champion.
