Cuba´s Domadores favorite against Argentines despite changes

Cuba´s Domadores favorite against Argentines despite changesHAVANA, Cuba, Mar 30 (acn) The inclusion of two debutants does not affect the condition of favorite with which the Cuba Domadores will face this Friday as visitors the Argentina Condors, in the World Series of Boxing (WSB).

The newcomers are the light-flyweight Jorge Griñán and middleweight Osley Iglesias, but they both have quality to respond to the demands of their opponents in the city of Rosario.

Griñán, youth universal runner-up, will face Leandro Blanc, 23, who has balance of three wins and two losses in WSB, where he won one of his two bouts in the current season.

While Iglesias´ opponent, will be Angel Lingua, winless in two outings in these events, one of them in the current edition.

The best boxer of the hosts will be the cruiser Yamil Peralta, 2013 world bronze medalist, although Erislandy Savón, current runner-up at that level, already beat him.

Peralta has won his 11 WSB fights, including one this year, but Savón had a 22-win streak before unexpectedly losing (1-2) to Colombian Deivis Julio Blanco on March 3rd.

The Domadores vs. Condors match will be completed with the bouts of featherweight Javier Ibáñez (3-0) against debutant Brian Argüelo and light welterweight Andy Cruz (7-1) versus Ronan Sanchez (4-8).

The Cuban team ranks second (10 points) in group A where the Colombia Heroicos (12) tops the standings that also includes the Venezuela Caciques (4) and the Argentina Condors (1).
