HAVANA, Cuba, Mar 17 (acn) With their main figures in the C-2 category and in the role of visitors, the Cuba Domadores will face the Venezuela Caciques today, in the fourth round of the 7th World Series of Boxing (WSB).
This match, headquartered by Jose María Vargas Dome, in the State of Vargas, includes five bouts, with highlight for the one between the Olympic bronze medalist Yoel Finol (52 kg) and Cuban world champion Yosbany Veitía.
Finol defeated Veitia in the 2015 world cup qualifying tournament, precisely in this same facility.
Another interesting fight will be the one between the Cuban Olympic and world monarch Roniel Iglesias (69) and the local seasoned Gabriel Maestre, among whom there has been a strong struggle for some years which balance favors Iglesias 2-1.
Meanwhile, the triple world monarch and Olympic champion Julio César La Cruz (81) will face the host Albert Ramirez, whom he has already defeated several times, although Ramirez beat him in the 2015 world cup qualifying tournament.
