This squad, which recently held two friendly matches in Jamaica with balance of one draw and one loss, is training to attend the CONCACAF final, based in Panama from next April 23.
That contest on Panamanian soil will enroll 12 teams divided into three groups. Cuba appears in Pool B, along with Costa Rica, Suriname and Canada, the latter will be its first rival on April 25th.
The four best teams of that tournament will get tickets to the U17 World Cup with headquarters in India, from October 6. Cuba has attended two WC in this category: Scotland 1989 and Italy 1991.
