Cuban National Women´s Championship closes today

HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 1 (acn) There were no changes on top of the standings of the Cuban National Women´s Championship as Maritza Arribas and Yerisbel Miranda, the two leaders of the contest, drew their respective games yesterday in the penultimate round.

Arribas and Miranda are tied in the first seat with 7.5 points from possible 10 after signing peace with Lisandra Llaudy and Yoanna González, in that order.
Llaudy ranks third tied with Yaniet Marrero, who also drew with Zirka Frometa, both with 7 units.
Meanwhile, Yuleisis Hernandez, who beat Jennys Soler, appears fifth with 6 points.
The current champion, Osleiny Linares, only totals 5 points, same amount that her victim Tania Miranda.
They are followed by Gonzalez (4), Soler and Karen Gutiérrez (3 both), while Milena Campos and Frometa (2.5) are on bottom of the standings.
The pairings for the final round are the following: Arribas-Marrero, Yerisbel-Campos, Hernandez-Llaudy, Tania-Frometa, Gonzalez-Linares and Soler-Gutierrez.
