Cuban national baseball series restarts today

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 5 (acn) The Cuban National Baseball Series will resume actions today through matches Matanzas-Villa Clara, Holguín-Camagüey, and Granma-Ciego de Avila, particular subseries that will take place in the house of those mentioned first.

According to the National Baseball Commission, the first day of each match will be double header, starting at 10 am, and on the second day there will be a single game, from 1:15 pm.
The note also stated that in the provinces where there is electrical availability for playing at night, the starting hour of the matches will be 3:15 pm. and 7:15 pm.
Due to the adjustments in the schedule of the championship, suspended on November 25th by the national mourning decreed by the death of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, the visiting teams were allowed to include two more pitchers to their rosters, regarding the amount allowed in the beginnings of the Series that was of 25 athletes.
The qualifying round of this second stage will end on December 28th, and the choosing of reinforcements of the four teams advancing to the final will take place a day later.
