HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 27 (acn) Cuban freestyle wrestler Alejandro Valdes won his fifth straight bout in the German League when beating Slovenian David Habat by technical superiority.
In his second season and as new member of the SVG Weingarten, the twice Pan-American monarch won 16-0 in match where his team defeated 12-8 the KSV Ispringen.
Prior to this match, Valdes (66 kg) had beaten 14-1 Russian Alexander Semisorov, European U23 bronze medalist, who defends the TuS Adelhausen.
His previous victims were Romanian George Bucur (5-3), German Dawid Wolny (15-0) and the also local Boris Dikṣu (also 15-0).
In 2015, the Cuban athlete had balance of 9 wins and only 2 losses.
Valdes´ club appears second behind the KSV Aalen 05 and ahead of the ASV Nendingen, squad which hired the also Cubans Yowlys Bonne (freestyle - 57kg) and Mijail Lopez (Greco-Roman - 130), who have not yet made their debut.
