Cuba lost to Haiti in CFU Men´s U20 FinalsHAVANA, Cuba, Oct 26 (acn) Cuba lost 1-2 to Haiti in its second match for group B of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Men´s U20 Finals, held in Curacao.

According to the website of the event, Haitians went ahead in the sixth minute through Jimmy Shammer Shannon and the winning goal was scored by Joel Desire (80´).
Cubans scored the equalizer through Lazano Tuero (68´), team's first goal after the goalless draw in the opening match against Trinidad and Tobago.
Aspirations to reach semifinals are now reduced for Cuba in this Poole, which is headed by Haitians (6 points) and Trinidadians (4), after beating 4-0 St. Lucia.
Today, at Ergilio Hato Stadium, Cuba will seek a win against St. Lucia and will await the outcome of the match Haiti-Trinidad and Tobago.
Only a defeat of Trinidadians and better goal difference of Cubans could grant access to the next stage and direct qualification to the CONCACAF finals in 2017 for the tickets to the World Cup, scheduled for May 20 to June 11, in South Korea.
Without that option, Cuba will still have a chance to earn the fifth berth as best third seat of the two groups.
Bermuda (6 units) and Antigua and Barbuda (4) advanced to semifinals for Poole A, while Saint Kitts and Nevis (4) appeared third and Curacao (1) finished last.
