RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil, Sep 13 (acn) Cuban Yunidis Castillo, five-time Paralympic gold medalist in speed events and current runner-up in long jump, cannot continue competing due to the injury suffered in the thigh of her left leg during the final of the women´s 100 meters F-47 race of the 15th Paralympic Games.
As a result of it, the specialists decided her not to participate in the 200 and 400 meters races, initially included in her program.
They also stated it was applied the appropriate previous treatment to final evaluation, which will be conducted by a multidisciplinary team in Cuba.
