Cuban Maykel Masso wins gold in Long jump at World Youth

HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 21 (acn) He was the favorite and proved it: Cuban Maykel Masso is the new universal monarch in long jump when reaching eight meters at the World Junior Championships taking place in the city of Bydgoszcz, Poland.

The Caribbean squad will also participate today in heptathlon and women´s hammer throwing through Adriana Rodriguez and Ayamey Medina respectively, but its main trump card lays in the men´s triple jump with Lázaro Martínez and Cristian Nápoles.
