HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 7 (acn) Antonio Becali, President of the Cuban National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (INDER by its Spanish acronym) heads a delegation to the United States, where they will fulfill an extensive working agenda.
The visit of the Cuban sports officials will run from June 7th through the 12, and is under the invitation made by the non-profit organization Hibernian Celtic Athletic Fund of Pittsburg, in the US state of Pennsylvania.
The INDER delegation will take to the United States the experiences of the sports system in the island nation, marked by being a right of the people, and the priority it gives to the promotion of health. This visit answers to the growing interest of institutions from the two countries to increase relations in the sports field.
The agenda includes activities in Washington DC, where the Cubans will meet the President's Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition and Congress people, besides having exchanges with Pittsburgh's authorities.
The delegation will also tour sports facilities and hold talks with specialists and American baseball and boxing stars, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry
