HAVANA, Cuba, May 24 (acn) The Cuban men's team defeated Canada in the third and final day of the preliminary stage of the Pan American Volleyball Cup, based in Juan Barrera Olympic Gym in Mexico City.
According to the website of the tournament, Cuba won 3-2 (20-25, 25-17, 25-21, 23-25 and 15-13), result with which it finished as leader of Group B.
The most outstanding Cuban players were Dariel Albo and Luis Sosa, both with 16 points, followed by Osniel Melgarejo (11), while Gounter Bradley (21), Stephen Maar (16) and Braden Mclean (10) stood out by Canadians.
