HAVANA, Cuba, May 9 (acn) The Cuba Domadores officially announced its advance to the final of the 6 th World Series of Boxing (WSB) when completing the sweep 10-0 over the Uzbekistan Tigers at Havana's Sports City Coliseum.
The Cuban squad only needed one win as the day before they had already won 5-0 but the members of C-2 format did want to be less than their teammates and achieved the same result.
The outcome shattered not a few odds and left satisfaction in the coaching staff, although its chief, Rolando Acebal, recalled they still have to fight for the scepter against the winner between the British Lion Hearts and the Kazakhstan Astana Arlans, defending champion.

The flyweight Yobany Veitía, world runner-up, got Cuba's first win of the night when beating 3-0 Abrorjon Kodirov mainly supported on his right jab with which he easily broke up the defense of the visitor.
Minutes later, the lightweight Lazaro Alvarez, triple universal monarch, defeated 3-0 Elnur Abduraimov, who had been his victim last year in the WC semifinal but this time starred the best performance by his squad as two referees saw him win the second round.
The welterweight Roniel Iglesias, light heavyweight Julio Cesar la Cruz and super heavyweight Leinier Pero completed the sweep by achieving easy wins, all 3-0, over Makhmud Gaipov, Shuhrat Abdullaev and Mirzohidjon Abdullaev respectively.
The Cuba Domadores won the fourth WSB season, finished second in the next edition and now reach their third final after 47 wins in 50 bouts.
