HAVANA, Cuba, Feb 12 (acn) Javier Miñano, physical trainer of the Spanish national soccer team, is offering since last Monday in this city a master course to 23 coaches, focused on the current high performance.
Miñano , world champion and twice European monarch with Spain, arrived sent by FIFA, which annually grants development courses to all countries, especially those with less competitive possibilities, as is the case of Cuba.
More games are played nowadays, because in each league they play on Wednesday and Sunday, and that's one facet that most alters the planning. Therefore, we must improve the player's performance with better fitness, said Miñano.
To be a better soccer it is not enough physical work, but also to look for the technical-tactical and psychological preparation. These three factors have to come together in each player, he said.
On the pitch of Pedro Marrero stadium, the trainer analyzed with the group of coaches each of the exercises he indicated in close connection with lectures in the morning.
You are the ones who teach classes and those receiving them owe you utmost attention and respect. To try to improve something, you have to devote maximum effort and you will be those who will provide this knowledge in your respective provinces, Miñano told Cuban coaches.
