Cuba beats Jamaica, qualifies for CONCCAF futsal tournamentHAVANA, Cuba, Jan 25 (acn) With three goals by wing Ricardo Castillo, the Cuban futsal team beat Jamaica 5-1 on Sunday in the third match of the first round of the Caribbean qualifying tournament based on Kid Chocolate multipurpose room, in this city.

After this result, the pupils of coach Clemente Reynoso won undefeated the group II and got one of the two direct tickets the tourney grants for the CONCACAF finals, based in Costa Rica, on May 2016.
Curacao earned the other berth after leading group I with three win s and no loss. So they will fight for the scepter o f the Caribbean tournament against Cuba on Tuesday.
In the match against Jamaicans, the other two Cuban goals were scored by Jhonnet Stalin Martinez and Karen Marino. With that hat-trick, Castillo totals five and ranks as scoring leader of the host squad, which aim is to qualify for the World Cup in Cali, Colombia, next September
Jamaica's goal, only one received by Cuban goalkeepers in three games, came at 29 minutes into the second half by pivot Kemeel Wolfe.
Cuba has been involved in four futsal WC: Spain 1996, Guatemala 2000, Chinese Taipei 2004 and Brazil 2008, but failed to qualify for the CONCACAF finals for the latest edition of Thailand 2012.
