Best Cuban athletes in 2015 to be announced today

HAVANA, Cuba, Dec 7 (acn) The best of Cuban sports in 2015 will be released today, after the formalization of the sum of points received from specialists from INDER (Spanish acronym for National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation) and the press.

The stage included the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, and several world championships in various disciplines, with the greater role of boxing among the candidates, and great possibilities for the Cuba Domadores in the World Series and the world medalists.
Surely, the representatives of athletics received great amount of votes, in addition to those of gymnastics, wrestling, canoeing, rowing, judo, taekwondo, baseball and basketball, among other meritorious performances, individually or collectively.
Again, the convened categories are the most outstanding team, best collective and individual sports, best athletes of individual and collective disciplines, rookie of the year and top ten athletes.
It will also be released today the most prominent handicap and junior athletes, as well as the best national and international referees and physical education teachers.
The best athletes in special activities will also be chosen today.
