Costa Rican U-17 women's soccer team to arrive in Cuba for friendly

HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 26 (acn) The Costa Rican U-17 women's soccer team will arrive today in this city, where they will hold two friendly matches against its Cuban counterpart, at Pedro Marrero stadium.
According to the Soccer Association of Cuba, the Central Americans will also conduct joint trainings with the Caribbean side coached by Constantino Valdés.

Worth mentioning that both teams are training for their respective qualifying tournaments heading into the CONCACAF finals , which will be held in Granada in March 2016, event that will grant three tickets to the World Cup in Jordan that same year.
Cuba will attend a tournament to be held in Puerto Rico, from November 13 to 23, while Costa Rica will seek progress on the event based at Honduras, from 11 to 16 of the same month.
This is the first time Cuba participates in this type of competition, while Costa Rica is ranked among the four CONCACAF.most powerful sides.
The friendly matches will take place on October 28th and 30th, at 4:00 pm.
