HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 18 (acn) Cuban Leinier Dominguez drew the second game against England's Michael Adams in the round of 32 in the World Chess Cup, based in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Leinier (2732 Elo points) and Adams (2742) drew in 25 moves of a Spanish opening and now have to decide the winner tomorrow through 25-minute rapid matches as they had previously drew their first game.
Something similar happened between Bulgarian Veselin Topalov (2816) and Chinese Shanglei Lu (2599), Russian Peter Svidler (2727) and Azeri Teimour Radjabov (2738) and American Wesley So (2773) and Vietnamese Le Quang Liem (2697).
