HAVANA, Cuba, Sep 17 (acn) Cuba will face Chinese Taipei in the closing of the second round of the Women's U-20 World Volleyball Championship, based in several cities of Puerto Rico, where they are fighting for one of the positions from ninth to 16th.
After losing on Tuesday 0-3 to the Czech Republic and win on Wednesday 3-2 ( 20-25, 25-23, 26-24, 27-29 and 15-10) over Mexico, the disciples of Wilfredo Robinson will try to achieve the awaited second win that could allow them finishing from ninth to 12th seat.
The Cuban Diaris Caridad Perez was the top scorer of the game with 27 points, supported by Claudia Hernandez (15).
Meanwhile, Maria Fernanda Rodriguez (22) and Fernanda Bañuelos (16) stood out for the losers in match corresponding to Group G, with a stage in Maunabo.
