HAVANA, Cuba, Jul 10 (acn) The Cuban soccer team lost 6-0 to Mexico in the first match of Group C of the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, based at Soldier Field stadium, in Chicago.
Oribe Peralta at the 17th, 37th and 62nd minutes, Carlos Vela (22), Andres Guardado (44) and Giovani dos Santos (75) were the authors of the Aztecs goals.
As reflected in the consulted web pages, Mexico dominated the action without major setbacks, had the possession of the ball and the score could have been bigger, but its forwards failed at least the same number of opportunities that did manage to score.
Despite the goals received, it is worth mentioning that in Havana there are still six Cuban key players, who could not reach Chicago after returning last Tuesday from Antigua and Barbuba, where they played a phase of the CONCACAF Olympic qualifiers.
Cuba's next match will be on Sunday against Trinidad and Tobago to close the group stage facing Guatemala on Wednesday.
