No undefeated players at Capablanca Chess memorialHAVANA, Cuba, Jun 22 (acn) The elite group of Capablanca Memorial Chess Tournament no longer has undefeated player when Russian Dmitry Andreikin beat Chinese Yu Yangyi, but the latter remained as leader thanks to 4.5 units of possible six.

The Asian (2715 Elo points), who achieved a quartet of wins and a draw in the first phase of the contest, lost on Sunday with black pieces in 66 moves of a Sicilian defense at the hands of Andreikin (2718).

Now Andreikin and Ukrainian Pavel Eljanov (2718) follow the leader with 3.5 units per capita, as the latter defeated Russian Ian Nepomniachtchi (2718) in 52 moves of a Scottish opening.

Sunday's actions also included the expected draw signed by Cubans Leinier Dominguez (2746) and Lazaro Bruzon (2677) in just 13 moves of a Spanish opening.

Now they own three and 2.5 points respectively.

Today´s games are Eljanov vs.Yu, Leinier - Nepomniachtchi and Bruzon - Andreikin.

The Premier Group continued headed by German Vitaly Kunin (2579), perpetrator of local Isam Ortiz (2572) in 33 moves of a Dutch defense and now totals 4.5 units.

His closest pursuer is the host Yusnel Bacallao (2530), whose balance amounted to four points thanks to his victory at the expense of Polish Jan-Krzysztof Duda (2610) in 63 moves of a defense of the two horses.

Kunin and Bacallao will hold today the most attractive match in that group.
