HAVANA, Cuba, Jun 16 (acn) Against all odds Bolivia appeared today as co-leader of Group A alongside the local squad of Chile, both with four points after the results of Monday at the Copa America.
After achieving a goalless draw in its debut against Mexico, the Bolivian team starred in an extraordinary performance by beating Ecuador 3-2 in a match held at Elías Figueroa Brander stadium, in Valparaiso.

The win put Bolivia to dream with qualifying for the quarterfinals, while the Ecuadorian side added its second loss of the tournament and is bound to beat Mexico in its next match to feed its almost nil chances of advancing to the next phase.
Mexico also had an amazing performance by drawing 3-3 with the favourite Chilean squad in a close game full of ups and downs on the score, with a stage at Julio Martínez Prádanos National Stadium, in Santiago.
