Cuban Dominguez draws against Nakamura in Chess Grand PrixHAVANA, Cuba, May 19 (acn) Cuban Leinier Dominguez drew during the fourth round of the Khanty-Mainsiysk Chess Grand Prix, in Russia, tournament headed by Italian Fabiano Caruana.

Dominguez drew with American Hikaru Nakamura in just 23 moves of a Sicilian defense and now owns 2.5 units, same amount of the Russian Peter Svidler, who accompanies him as escorts of Caruana who totals three points thanks to his second consecutive win.

According to the event organizers, Caruana beat French Maxime Vachier-Lagrave in 43 moves of a Slav defense.

Svidler signed peace with the also Russian Sergey Karjakin, and so did his countrymen Evgeny Tomashevsky and Dmitry Jakovenko, Israeli Boris Gelfand and the Dutch Anish Giri, and Georgian Baduur Jobava and Russian Alexander Grischuk.

Gelfand, Tomashevsky, Grishuk, Karjakin and Nakamura, all with two points appear after Caruana, Leinier and Svidler.

Meanwhile, Vachier, Jobava, Jakovenko and Giri are on bottom of the table with 1.5 units and will try to have a more favorable second segment after today's general rest.
